The pressing may be easier with a wood or rubber mallet. When the sleeve is in its correct position, just refill the tire with the correct air pressure. In addition, the sleeve may adhere to the rubber tire better by using several strips of self-adhesive grip tape (such as used on skateboard decks) on the sleeve's inner face.
