This is a SCARCE Codd patent bottle that likely once contained soda water or mineral water! This bottle measures approx. 7-1/2" high. Light straw green in color. Bottler name and location are embossed in an oval slug plate on one side, along with a pictorial embossing of two bottles and a drinking glass. Name of bottling company is embossed horizontally on a shield slug plate along heel on side opposite bottler name. The marble is also straw green in color. Broken rubber washer remains inside bottle. Due to the pinch that keeps the glass marble stopper in place, the top portion of this bottle resembles a hog snout or hog nose. Embossed RBB on bottom. We discovered this bottle among the contents of an estate in Maryland. A great addition to your Scottish or UK soda bottle collection! CONDITION DETAILS: VERY GOOD. Minimal surface wear.
