These are generally used with a GI style guide rod plug. To install: Some fitting will be required on the full Profile style. To install you just need to mill or file a flat on the back of the dust-cover for installation. You can install without the flat but to insure no “Clocking” of the plug it is better to have the plug keyed with a flat.
