1952 H.N. White Cleveland Alto Saxophone w/ Case & More. Made by King Craftsmen

Description: Travel back in time with this 1952 H.N. White Cleveland alto saxophone. The serial number stamped on the top of the neck and back of the body is C-55944. This saxophone was beloved and much played. Cosmetically, the brass lacquer is almost all gone. The previous owner loved this sax. Made by King Craftsmen, The H.N. White Co., Cleveland, O., is engraved on the side of the bell. There is a dent where a sheet music lyre would be attached. The lyre bracket screw is also missing (please see photos). Functionally, the key mechanisms and pads all work and are in good condition. It comes with a rubber mouthpiece, metal ligature, a metal mouthpiece cap that is a little too small for the mouthpiece, a neck cover, and a plastic stopper for the body of the saxophone. It comes in a hard case. The case latches and hinges are both functional. One case handle is missing, and one works. The accessory pocket was constructed out of cigar box and is in shabby condition. The inside of the case was relined with green felt in an amateur fashion. The relining is in poor, but functional, condition. It's an All-American sax, ready for its next owner. Questions?
