Lot of items and scrapbook from ordination of priest Lynnewood Yates Harris or L. Yates Harris who was ordained in 1978 and was a priest at St. Clement's Church of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Book is a magnetic page photo album that has a copy of a 1952 from Yates Mother to him discussing her happiness that he is going to become a priest one day. Also inside are invitations to the ordination, one sent by cousin Judge and Mrs. William B. Yates. Name plates for Lucia Shaub and Michael Shaub, siblings of Harris.Included is invitation to celebrate at the residence of Michael Shaub in Hockessin, Delaware. Yates was son of Alfred L. Harris and Elsie Y. Harris Mohler. Harris was ordained by Most Reverend Edward A. McCarthy, Archbishop of Miami, FL. Some clippings of pictures from newspaper, color photographs, programe for Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Clement Church. Polaroid photos of mass of Thanksgiving at brother's house in Hockessin, DE. 14 full pages of ephemera from L. Yates Harris priesthood and then loose are another program for the mass of Thanksgiving at St. Clement Church in Ft. Lauderdale and the church bulletin dated May 14th, 1978. Photo album is intact with vintate wear, some at corners of cover. Some discoloration to pages inside due to age. Some soiling on cover. The loose papers have more discoloration due to age, and wear.
