2023 Supergirl Uncommon DC Mint Trading Coin 147/150 Error Struck Through Thread

Description: 2023 DC Mint Trading Coin - Supergirl For sale is a 2023 DC Mint Trading Coin in the Limited Mintage series featuring Supergirl - this one is number 147 out of 150 minted. It is a stunning Proof strike, made with 99.9% Fine Silver (1 ounce). The coin is issued for the country Niue, a small island country in the South Pacific and struck by the New Zealand Mint. It has a unique design that will appeal to collectors and fans of the DC universe. This is a great addition to any coin collection or a unique gift for a DC fan. Included is the coin in its original plastic case and the black velvet pouch, as pictured. Interesting note on this coin is that there is very small mint error on the reverse (arguably the obverse), to the right of the coat of arms. It is actually much harder to see with the naked eye than the photo as the light caught it and exaggerated it. It is a struck through thread. This type of error happens when debris, which appears to be a thread in this case, comes between the die and planchet during striking. The force of the strike leaves an impression. it is only about 1 mm in length and hook shaped. It is very unusual to see mint errors on coins like these that are carefully struck. Please note that these were issued in pairs at random and the outer box (designed for two) and booklet is not included with this coin. However, if you buy two coins from me, I can include both the box and booklet at no extra cost (please request). Also, the highly reflective proof surface on the reverse easily picks up reflections, dust particles, etc, which you may see in the photos, but the coin looks fine. I tried my best to avoid this but there appears to be a hazy ring in the photo, which is a reflection, and doesn't exist on the coin! I typically ship the same day.
