The car is white plastic. The trucks are sheet metal and have link couplers with black weights.** The white version of this hopper is less commonly seen. This car has the type C sheet metal trucks. Compatible with S gauge trains including modern Lionel American Flyer, vintage A.C. Gilbert American Flyer, American Models, Mike's Train House, Scenery Unlimited, S-Helper Services, etc. Markings: "AMERICAN FLYER", "640".Condition: Very good to good condition. Two steps are good and 2 steps are broken. The lettering on one side is missing some print on the "N" of American. On the other side appears to be spots of brown paint.
