Description: Antique Coalport Y2291 Hand Colored Floral Cobalt & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer B Nice antique British bone china tea cup and saucer. Decorated with gold floral sprigs on the inside of the cup. Decorated on the outside of the cup and the saucer with hand colored flowers in pink, purple, blue, yellow, and orange with gold scrollwork in between a cobalt blue and white background. Marked on the bottom England Coalport AD 1750 with a crown. This mark was used between 1891 and 1920. Also has an importer/retailer mark for Gilman Collamore Fifth Ave & 30th Street New York and the pattern number Y2291. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
