Description: Antique French Bronze Epergne Centerpiece with Ornate Cut Crystal Vase – 14 inches This is a lovely example of a French, single bronze epergne with a tall, gloriously cut crystal vase. The bronze base is unique with a triangle of bronze decorated with 3 rounded carved cylinders that lead up to a large drum-like cylinder that holds the crystal vase. Although solid & strong in bronze, the vase holder is open & airy allowing the lovely crystal vase to show through the form. The vase is 14 inches high & 5 inches in diameter, & intricately carved in a fan shape & scalloped bordered at the top. We are using this lovely bronze crystal epergne on our autumn supper table as centerpiece to display flowers from our garden – placed on a silvered bronze French mirrored plateau.
