There are no chips or flakes but there are a few scratch marks through the smaller flower which I have photographed. I found the smaller black band which slides over the top of the globe after I had photographed the lamp so I have included it in the box. This original piece was manufactured in the United States during the 1850-1899 time period and has an untouched finish. The lamp is a perfect fit for any vintage or antique lover and makes a great statement piece. Add this beautiful and unique lamp to your collection today! I have packed this heavy and fragile item carefully using bubble wrap and compostable peanuts. The oversize box and weight does make shipping expensive. I chose FedEx because it was the least costly.
