Created to capture the excitement and represent an important period of our history and culture, "Millie" was sculpted by artist Roger Akers in an exclusie limited edition, costumed by Stephanie Giradi, and crafted under the hallmark of the W S George China Company. Hand-painted pretty face and pink fingernails, along with sheer, seamed "silk" stockings and t-strap shoes, capture the authentic fashion details of her era. Costume designer, Stephanie Giradi, created Millie's outfit. In head-to-toe 1920's fashion she is dressed in a satin chemise with glittering beaded fringe and light pink satin panties. A light pink sash adorned with a rhinestone jewel encircle her hips. Her feathered cloche hat (fastened with a "pearl" hairpin) and dancing shoes are embellished with rhinestones. All her clothing is removable but her earrings are peranently attached. Her head can be posed along with her rotating shoulder joints to raise or lower her arms. In her right hand she holds onto her long string of "pearls" necklace as she high steps the Charleston. Doll Number 1586A. She is approximately 17" tall and 8" wide.
