With that, comes a potential to snag or damage the wires and sensor below the crank housing. This skid plate is designed to protect that vulnerable area from brush, rocks, and any object that may impact that area. Made from virtually unbreakable aviation grade Kydex, this plate allows for the wiring to be routed between (2) 3/4 inch rubber mounts that offer unbreakable protection in that area.
