Description: Arnold Goldstein signed silver concho brown genuine leather belt. The leather belt is a flat belt with a width of 1" (one) inch. The belt length from the prong of the belt buckle to the end tip is 50" inches in total length. The conchos on this belt have been tested by a professional jeweler using a Thermo Scientific Handheld Precious Metal Analyzer. The instrument as well as her professional opinion is as follows: The following Sterling Silver conchos are described in detail below from left to right starting with the belt buckle: The belt buckle is 3" x 2 1/4" It is 92.5% sterling silver, as well as the keeper loop. The belt buckle contains 4 turquoise stones set in the four corners of the belt buckle. Beautiful veins of copper coloring are seen in the turquoise stones. (SEE PHOTO) The sixth concho is a single boot measuring 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". It is 92.5% sterling silver. It does not have a visible maker's mark or signature. The eighth concho is a circled rope with a heart and flower in the center. This concho is 2"x 2" and is also 92.5% sterling silver. There is no visible maker's mark or signature. The silver has some tarnish. The ninth concho is the double mustang horses which are 92.5% sterling silver. The actual measurement of the mustang horses is 4" x 2.5". This concho is signed by the artist on the back with the words "Wild American Mustang". There is also a silver mark next to the wording, as well as the word "Sterling" above the other wording. The sixteenth concho is the buffalo standing on the arrowhead. It measures 1 3/4" x 2 3/4" It is 92.5% Sterling. There is no apparent signature on this piece. The tenth concho are the pair of boots, they measure 4 1/4" in length x 2.5". They are 92.5% sterling silver. The front of the right boot is marked with a copy right insignia of 91, A. Goldstein The fourteenth concho is the old western pistol with holster. It measures 2" x 4" inches . It is 92.5% sterling. It is signed on the back A. Goldstein Lastly, the end tip of the belt also tested at 92.5% sterling silver. It measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/8" It has a copyright engraving on the back that says A. Goldstein THE FOLLOWING CONCHOS LISTED BELOW TESTED AS ZINC, COPPER, AND SILVER: Starting again from left to right: The first concho is a Texas ranger star. It measures 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" There is no visible marking on this concho. The second concho is two feathers measuring 1 1/8"x 3 3/4" Underneath the feathers is a makers mark with a copyright and signature of A.Goldstein (you have to bend the belt back to see under the feathers.) The concho loop on the back of the belt also has an engraved signature A. Goldstein The third concho is a circle with a wide rope edge and a circled star in the middle. It measures 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" There is no visible maker's mark. The fourth concho is a cowboy on a bucking bronco. It measures 2 1/8" x 2 1/4" It There is no visible maker's mark. The fifth concho is a circle with a cow skull in the middle. It measures 2" x 2" There is no visible maker's mark. The seventh concho is a standing horse with a saddle. It measures 2 3/4"x 2 1/2" There is no visible maker's mark. The eleventh concho is an indian chief head, It measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" There is no visible maker's mark on this piece. The twelfth concho is the cowboy boot spur. It measures 4 1/4'x 2 1/4"x 1/2"+ thick It has a definite maker's mark, and A. Goldstein signature (SEE PHOTO) The thirteenth concho is a large heart with a cross in the center. It has a bead design around the cross and radiating outward toward the edges of the heart. It measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" There no visible maker's mark. The fifteenth concho looks like some kind of Indian symbol. It has six total chevrons 3 on top and 3 on the bottom. It measures 3 1/8"x 1 1/2" It has no visible maker's mark. The brown belt leather has been very well cared for. The belt's punch holes look like new with no stretching of the holes. There are six visible punch holes on the belt, some are covered by conchos. The belt's punch holes would give an estimated belt size between 34 1/4" waist to 38 1/2" belt size from the prong of the belt. (BECAUSE OF THE ADDITIONAL LENGTH OF THE BELT 50" TOTAL LENGTH. PUNCH HOLES COULD BE PROFESSIONALLY ADDED TO EXPAND THE BELT'S SIZE.) There is an excess of leather without punch holes measuring ten inches from the last punch hole to the end of the leather belt. Total belt weight 2 1/2 pounds including the leather. FLAWS VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE: There are a few light scratches on the backs of the artist pieces, as well as some tarnish on the sterling silver pieces. Very minimal stretching of the leather on one small section of the belt.The belt is in very good pre-owned condition. It has been very well cared for. Comes from a smoke free environment.
