Description: Two hand made star shaped doll figures wearing old plaid (probably feed sack) cotton remnants. Buttons are sewn threads as well as faces, seams, with "hats". My mother was born in 1922 and claimed these as her first dolls. Being depression era, home made gifts were very common and known as folk art or as items made in trade. Being star shaped, I believe these were Christmas presents. Mother's parents raised sheep so sheep wool was plentiful and used as a stuffing as noted in title. 100 years old, original condition with some stains as shown. Measure approximately 6x6" minimum. Sending USPS priority insured. Thank You!
