Description: This is a listing for one reproduction top quality Czech made German wartime helmet liner for the M40 and 42 helmet. The liner is made according to the original pattern of the M40 liner. The liner is fully serviceable. The outer band is of the old type model that I was selling close to 20 years ago with a cowhide liner leather made from a Czech communist era helmet liner. The outer band will only slightly be out of round but will take the proper shape once affixed inside the helmet. This is the exact liner you will be sent as in the pictures. The size is a 59 hat size and will fit in the size 66 German WW2 combat helmet shell. THIS IS HOW YOU FIND OUT WHAT SIZE LINER YOUR HELMET SHELL NEEDS The way you find the shell size is to look on the inside skirt of the helmet where the left ear is when wearing it or look at the rear back of the flared skirt. There you will find a set of two digits after a set of one to three letters that indicates the shell size as above. If the marking is too faint to read you can make a very exact measurement down to the millimeter of the circumference of the shell at the level of the rivets and let me know the results, I can then find the size of the shell from that.
