Description: Lot of 3 images: 1/6 tintype of Lawrence Buckley Thomas (born 1848, Baltimore), who later became a Reverend, plus TWO 1/9 plate daguerreotypes: Lawrence as a younger boy and a man who I believe was probably his father, Dr. John Chew Thomas Jr., a physician, wearing what looks like an academic style cap. John Chew, Jr. was also the son of John Chew Thomas, who served as a Federalist member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Maryland's 2nd congressional district from 1799 to 1801, so these two were from a prominent, family from Philadelphia and Baltimore, Maryland. It appears the dags of father and son were taken in the same sitting. All images are in very good antique condition. Dag covers are separated.7880G
