The point is that it will fit a wide variety of mens' wrists, except for the very biggest and smallest on the scale. It is a used piece, and it does have small faults. One of them is that as it was worn for some time, a close look, even without magnification, will reveal a lot of small scratches and dings all over. Some consider this to be "character", but if a good amount of wear is a turnoff for you, look elsewhere. We shined it up with silver polishing cloths so it can look its best for the photos. The other flaw is that there are two wing clasps that are pushed outward by small springs to anchor the bracelet on opposing sides of the box clasp, holding it on the wrist. They are both there, but on one side the clasp pusher is only present, not holding onto the side of the box lock because the spring underneath is broken or missing. We tried the bracelet for the entire day here in the store and it stayed in place just fine on both our wrists, but for maximum or heavy duty utility you will want to get a new spring installed soon after purchasing.
