It is very precisely machined, and the lever gives plenty of leverage, so little physical effort is required. Primers fall into place easily and seat very smoothly. It's quick and easy to switch from large to small primers. Primer depth adjustment is very easy and intuitive. Note that the top part that holds the shell holder rotates 360 degrees to adjust primer depth, so theoretically you could be loading cases from the back, relative to the lever; however, mine is calibrated for proper seating with the shell holder facing the front and in-line with the lever, so that's a very nice and convenient refinement. I have previously used an RCBS universal hand primer, and it was pretty sucky and clunky, so I gave it away.
