Kohler Toilet Seat Blind Anchors For One Piece Toilets, Simplified Version

Description: This kit is a simplified version of a mounting system for toilet seats that are easier to install and cheaper than my other kit on eBay. NOT recommended for slo close type seats This is primarily for one piece Kohlers with blind anchors. They aren’t as durable as my metal kit but are simpler to install and require only a Phillips #2 screwdriver to complete the job. They will ONLY fit 3/8 in holes in Kohler or other toilets that have 3/8 in mounting holes. They also aren’t strong enough to hold a slow close silent type seat as the leverage is too high for this type anchor. Order the metal kit if your seat is a slow close type or mounting hole is larger than 3/8 in. Mention hole size in order message and I’ll include adapters for larger holes with metal kit. After old mounting nut is removed, dry and clean the porcelain, insert chloroprene rubber wellnut in hole, line up the 10-32 screw, small washer, large washer, seat flange, rubber washer and tighten. Your done. An even faster way would be to pre-assemble the screws and nuts into the seat mounting flanges and then insert the nuts into the holes with seat attached and tighten them up. These should last 5-10 years best estimate before rubber deteriorates and then may require replacement. I include longer screws with this kit for the thicker seat flanges so that wont be a problem. This kit will mount all types of seats as long as holes in the porcelain are 3/8 in diameter.
