Paul's Balls is a family-owned business and we hand pick and inspect every ball we sell. Our balls are selectively harvested from woods, brush, rough and high-grass. We never retrieve our balls from ponds, creeks, streams, lakes or any other type of standing water, so you'll never need to worry if your balls have spent time submerged underwater or are waterlogged. We do not sell refurbished, recycled, x-out nor practice balls in our standard mixes. The average golfer loses 3-6 balls per round, and sometimes more! Used Golf Ball Rating Scale AAAAA/Mint: These are our highest quality used golf balls. They will play and perform like a new ball. This grade may include both mint and AAAAA-rated balls. These balls may have pen marks, corporate logos or slight discolorations/blemishes/grass stains, but no appreciable damage to the cover. Cosmetically, these balls are in very good shape. Please note that we cannot guarantee every ball in this mix will be absolutely perfect/mint condition, as these are used balls. No refurbished, recycled, x-out or practice balls will be included. AAAA: These are our second tier quality used golf balls. They may have minor scuffs, modest blemishes or slight discolorations/grass stains. Pen marks or corporate logos may be present. These balls may have superficial cosmetic issues that do not affect the play of the ball. No refurbished, recycled, x-out or practice balls will be included. AAA: These are golf balls with noticeable or significant discolorations, pen markings, blemishes or scuffs. These balls may be cosmetically compromised, but are absolutely still playable if you don't mind a less-than-perfect looking ball. May include refurbished, recycled or practice balls with pen marks or corporate logos. Currently, we only sell AAA-rated premium model balls. See description below for more details. Shag: Hit-away/shag golf balls that are intended for practice, hitting into water or hitting for fun. Balls may have significant blemishes and/or cover damage. This mix contains only AAA-rated balls that didn't make the cut for our higher grades. Balls may have significant scuffs/blemishes/discolorations/pen markings. These balls are cosmetically compromised, but absolutely still playable. A great way to get premium model balls at a bargain! Please do not purchase AAA balls if you are looking for a visually-appealing ball. Shag/Hit-Away Mix: Hit-away/shag golf balls that are intended for practice, hitting into water or hitting for fun.
