Description: Late 19th Century Royal Vienna Style Vase with shield mark. The subject of the portrait is Madame Juliette Réclaimer - after the larger painting by François Gerard found in the Carnavalet Museum, Paris. Portrait appears to be a print transfer that has been over painted by hand. Condition Notes: Gold color loss at base. Slight color loss in other areas - please see photos. Small chip / cracks to top which are only visible when the top is removed - please see photos. Three piece construction in which it appears there was separation where the main portion of the vase meets the stem. There are no cracks or damage, but the it looks like is was repaired and as a result the vase is a bit off of level. Please see photos. Oversized: 26" including lid.
