This is an incredibly robust work knife with exceptional action due to the incorporation of the Demko Shark-Lock in a full size AD20S frame. This knife features Frag textured Earth Brown G10 handles and a stonewashed 3.6" stonewashed stainless CPM 20CV blade with a thumb hole and thumbstudsas well as a very slicey factory edge. The Textured G10 handles are a muted Earth Brown color and are extra grippy in hand due to the Frag texture on both show side and lock side handles. Overall length is 8.6". Very firm lockup and drop shut action due to the exceptionally smooth bearings and Shark-Mechanism. The Shark-Lock mechanism is situated on the spine of the knife and operated with a ramp-like ‘fin.’ Opening the blade makes the spring-driven lock arm move up and then into a notch in the tang, situating it beneath a lock pin. This range of movement is noteworthy. It’s unique in that the locking mechanism moves forward and back while also moving up and down. This allows for a greater-sized blade tang, making a better mechanical advantage in a specific area. And because the drive spring that moves the locking element up into the locked position is contained within the locking arm itself, it won’t be subject to dirt and grime.
