For decades, Camelbacks pulled freight trains and even the famous Blue Comet passenger train along New Jersey's rails. When it comes to identifying steam locomotives, most people start counting wheels, but when railfans see a Camelback, they know right away what they are looking at.This beautiful O-27 steamer is outfitted with the incredible ProtoSmoke? system and with the Proto-Sound? Digital Sound and Train Control System. Proto-Sound equipped models feature squeaking brake sounds, passenger station sounds, and authentic whistle and realistic chuffing and steam sounds. Operationally the Camelback will offer years of beautiful, smooth, quiet service. All Camelbacks feature a precision flywheel-equipped motor. The boiler and tender are finely detailed and are made out of die-cast metal. The chassis and running gear are also entirely metal.
