Description: Thanks for your time in looking at our Vintage, Unused and Rare Sheaffer Pen Gift Set offer. We just opened these for the first time despite them being over 27 years old. Sheaffer Pen produced a very limited run of Gift Boxed Holiday-targeted items that were only produced for ONE three month period. While not exactly sure, we believe that this occurred in or around 1997. The Fashion Brushed Chrome 23K Gold Electroplated Trim Refillable Ballpoint and matching 0.5mm Pencil Set was a nice seller hitting a fantastic price-point (Sheaffer # 240X-9 sold for $50 a set in 1997). For the 1997 Holiday Promotion Sheaffer added a "gift with purchase" right in the newly designed box...a beautiful Corvair Branded Quartz Watch. This featured a genuine leather adjustable watchband. Please see the images in this listing for the composition of the offer. The Ball Pen is twist actuated while the Pencil has a unique "top button" actuation. They have a very solid feel and are very attractive in the hand. We have several of these that we would like to redistribute from our collection that we are selling off. These Sets have NEVER been used. Everything, including the gift box, is in PRISTINE condition. These fine writing instruments were proudly produced in the Sheaffer Pen Factory in Fort Madison, Iowa. The company no longer produces in this facility. You can own a piece of history. We are only asking $58.00 per set or make an offer if they stay unsold for a period of time. Because of their age we would anticipate that the Ballpen Refill and the Watch Battery may need to be replaced if you are going to actually use these. Please be aware of this.
