Description: SUCH SWEET BABIES!! These dolls are are Dream Babies by Armand marseille. . Both are 9”. Both have a bisque head and a paper mache body. I believe their clothes were hand sewn when they were ‘born’. Their chubby baby bodies are so sweet. They wear matching half slips and matching gowns that are simplistic but adorable. Antique lace around their collars and sleeves. Their hands are all present. Missing one big toe but honestly not noticeable. When I found them at an auction the basket they were in was rotten. I washed their clothing. One doll was perfect. One had a crack at the top of her head. I decided to take them to the Chesterland Doll Hospital and have her/him fixed. You can not tell which one was repaired. Fine job. It really didn’t have to be fixed because she was stable but I wanted them to still be twins. Both eyes open and close. So very very sweet. Twins at that!! Their faces were not touched. Beautiful blushing cheeks and rosebud lips. Do you have twin dolls that need to hold twin babies? This is the set for you. PS. These dolls are embossed on the back of their heads AM AND GERMANY and some numbers lower on the neck I can not read. AM stands for Armand Marseille. Sounds French but made in Germany. THISE LITTLE TINY SWEET MATCHING EYES!!
