It has a nice warm vintage tone with plenty of that thump & punch that you crave. It is the first and only 5 string bass of this kind that I have seen. This bass is a great playing tone monster in need of a player that is stage, studio or just home rockstar bound. It has just been professionally set up with new strings and low action, so she is ready to go straight from the gig bag. It was beautifully crafted by the fine luthiers of Fender Japan at the Dyna Gakki Factory. This thumper was made in around 2002-04 (CIJ Q serial) Anyone who has played these early CIJ Fenders will tell you that these instruments are truly excellent. As far as playability goes, it is sounds just like a killer Fender Jazz Bass should. The neck is perfectly straight and the rosewood fretboard is a dark, rich chocolate brown color that is of great quality. Cosmetically she remains is very excellent condition for its age with moderate playwear. (see pics) There are a few small dings, dents & scratches. A tell tale sign that it is a great bass that's hard to put down. Anyone who brings her home will be thrilled. Rock out in style, with some vintage Fender Mojo!
