Description: I have seen a few pieces of The Berlin Wall in the past, but never one as large as this, and never including barbed wire as well. Incredible piece of history, the 3" long concrete portion of the wall is attatched to bottom of shadow box. The barbed wire simply rests on top. Provenance distorted in back, and certified by Jens Echtetmeyer of Siemens Private Communications Systems in Boca Raton. A U.S. Army Intelligence Officer stationed in Berlin at the time acquired approximately 26lbs of The Wall at and near "Checkpoint Charlie" on behalf of Siemens. Incredible and rare find, with simple and elegant shadowbox display topped-off with a brass eagle resting on top. Please note very small crack on top of glass, but fortunately does not affect at all how this own presents. Please see pics for further description and condition.
