Description: Vintage 50s S Jonathan Logan Silk Dress Sheer, Side Zipper, Aqua, Teal, Gold VFG Vintage 50's Jonathan Logan Dress Geometric Pattern....SHEER Silk Fabric Shirtwaist Style...Side Zipper Up for bid is a wonderful vintage dress from Jonathan Logan fashioned from a lovely aqua, teal, and gold silk material. It is very sheer! The size tags reads "9" but please see "How I Measure" and measurements below to ensure a proper fit. It measures small. Features include a shirtwaist style with fabric covered buttons for closure, notched collar, flattering front and back darts and small pleats along the waistline, pinked seams, a very full skirt, thread loops at the waistline for a belt which is not included in this auction, and a metal side zipper for closure. Measurements: There are no shoulder or underarm seams....Approx Shoulder to shoulder 19 inches, Approx Underarm to underarm 19 1/2 inches, Approx bust 34, Shoulder to waist 15 inches, Side of waist to side of waist 12 1/2 inches, Hips are full, Back of neck to bottom hem 44 1/2 inches and Side to side along bottom hem 44 1/2 inches. This wonderful dress is in very good condition with a few minor issues: it had been repaired along the stitching of the underarms (the stitching is loose...see last two photos)...there is a small tear in the fabric just above the top of the zipper (also shown in the first closeup photo)...a few teeny holes which are only noticeable when held up to the light....and one belt loop is detached on the bottom.
