Description: Vintage Bergamot American Indian Howling Wolf in Desert Pewter Belt Buckle S-256 Vintage Bergamot American Indian Howling Wolf in Desert Pewter & Black Enamel Belt Buckle S-256 The buckle is made of pewter (a magnet does not stick to it), the chape and prong are iron and it has an interesting and very cool raised design of a wolf howling at the moon in a desert setting accented with black enamel. The outer rim has American Indian symbols and feathers. The markings on the back indicate this is manufactured by Bergamot Brass Works, Delavan, Wisconsin; Made in USA and the numbers S-256 and 980101. There is no manufacturer date that I can see. The buckle is approx. 3.25" W x 2.5" D and will fit up to a 1.5" belt. It is in very good condition with no dents or dings but it does have minor scuffs as shown in the pictures. Please note that I have not polished this.
