Dating to the mid-20th century, the vase was hand crafted in the United States with the perimeter decorated with dancing mythological nymphs in raised relief. Standing approximately 9 inches in height on a pedestal base measuring 3.5 inches square, the thickness and quality of the slag glass used gives this piece a substantial weight of 3 pounds. A few random tiny kiln blisters that occurred during production can be found to the exterior surface. These are inherently common in the production of slag glass and are not immediately noticed or distracting. The urn is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. The original Imperial Glass Co. label remains intact and can be found on the interior edge of the vase.
