Description: Vintage Italian San Zeno Pisa Fish motif Majolica Fruit bowl. A rare and beautiful find from the early 20th century. This large fruit bowl was created between 1926 and 1940 in an Italian womans ceramic workshop. The shop, established by Laura Rauschi to train young women to create pottery mimicking techniques and models from the 1300s and 1400s. The shop closed in 1940. This treasure measures approximately 51/2 inches tall X 14 3/4 inches in diameter. Condition is excellent.
