"Forgotten Recipes" features re-discovered recipes from years gone by, including some you have probably never heard of. The book is in very good vintage condition. The front and back covers are intact with very minimal age-related scuffing and wear. The spine is in good condition with no cracks or broken teeth. All pages are secure - none are loose. The pages are clean - no spots, stains, tears, or printing. This book is almost like-new condition. Best Recipes from the Backs of Boxes, Bottles, Cans & Jars: This cookbook was originally published in 1979 and this is a first edition; a Book Club edition. This is a hardcover book with a dust jacket. It has 194 pages and measures approximately 8.5 inches in height, is about 5 3/4 inches wide, and is around 5/8 inch thick. This cookbook recalls "recipes that have stood the test of time and the supermarket shelf....the recipes in this book remain popular because they are fast, simple, and economical." This book is in good vintage condition. The dust jacket is intact with some age-related scuffing and wear around the edges, likely from sitting on a shelf for years. The binding is tight with no loose pages. The pages are clean - no stains, tears, or printing, however there is quite q bit of age-related discoloration on the outside edge of the book and also on the front and back inner cover pages.
