Description: Vintage Papua New Guinea Boar Tusk Necklace Woven Fiber Chain Tribal Ethnographic This stunning Vintage Ethnographic Tribal Necklace from Papua New Guinea has boar’s tusk suspended from a woven fiber chain. This came from the estate of world travelers who had traveled to New Guinea many years ago. Boar tusk measures approx. 4 1/4” in width and woven chain measures approx. 37 1/2” in length. Overall in fair condition with wear normal for age including scratches, nicks, or defects characteristic of older tribal pieces. The woven chain may be a bit fragile and looks like there are some older splits and repairs. This is how I acquired it and I have left the original patina for you to clean as desired.
