Description: Up for auction is a Vintage WFL Parts 6 1/4" X 14" Snare with 1-ply Solid Steam Bent Shell and solid Maple Re-Rings. Snare is fitted with one original WFL Pat. Pend. Snare Strainer in great shape complete with original handle and works with ease, 10 WFL Bow Tie Lugs with original casings, nuts, springs and mounting hardware all work as designed, one WFL snare Butt in great condition all original, one WFL original period correct small-knob Tone Control also works well and one original WFL 1955 thru 59 Ludwig Drum Co, Chicago U.S. A brass badge with after market brass grommet. Please note all vintage parts do show dings, slight rust, scratches and other blemishes to be expected from parts over 60 plus years old. All parts were cleaned, inspected and all work with out issues. Both Single flange nickel Hoops are after market along with 20 nickel hoop clips. Both heads are new straight out of the box along with all 20 tension rods. Shell is a Steam Bent 1-ply that measures 6 1/4" X 14" fitted with solid maple re-rings. Both inside edges are 30 and outside edges are a slight 30 as close to original as possible. All pictures were taken out side with out flash to show true over-all condition. Because of the vintage parts this snare is being sold as is with no return so please look at all close up pictures carefully prior to bidding. I always consider any and all reasonable offers.
