Description: You are bidding on an EXCELLENT used example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Type 90 "Civil Defense" Helmet! Brought back by a US veteran, however I do not have any further history. The WW2 Japanese Type 90 "Civil Defense" Helmet was the final of four variations of the Type 90 Army helmet and was designed specifically for mainland civil defense.Made of steel, this brown/khaki-colored helmet is a SUPERB used example! Brought back by a US Serviceman, it has some marks, scratches, and wear as you can see in the photos, however it still retains 95% original paint! A size marking at the back, but no manufacture markings that I can see. The previous collector added a reproduction, "Army Star" to the front for display purposes, but that can be switched out by the winning bidder. A PERFECT and VERY RARE addition to any collection or display!
