Description: This type of first aid packet was issued to aircrew members to give them a packet that would fit into a pocket, ensuring that it would be available in the event of bale out or forced landing. It was determined that large crew sized first aid boxes or kits were often left in the aircraft when a forced landing or bale out occurred, therefore each crew member had a kit on his person to render aid.
